When depression or stress is an ongoing reaction and persists over time, it may impact one’s functioning, relationships or work situation. If it becomes more serious it may signify a condition requiring professional help.
Symptoms associated with depression are:

Therapy is very effective in working with depression. Our work will encompass strategies to treat the symptoms, resolve issues that lead to depression, and help you resume a happier, more productive life. When indicated, I refer patients to psychiatrists who can evaluate if medication would be beneficial.
